How long will my order take to arrive?
Once your order is placed, please allow 1–4 business days for processing and packing. After dispatch, delivery typically takes 6–12 business days depending on your location. Your estimated total delivery time is 7–16 business days. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order has been dispatched.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — we offer free standard shipping on all orders across Australia with no minimum spend required.
How do I track my order?
Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking details. Use the tracking number provided to monitor your delivery directly with the carrier. If you have not received a tracking email within your handling window, please check your spam folder before contacting us.
Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Orders can only be cancelled if they have not yet been processed or dispatched. Contact us at info@vaahri.com.au as soon as possible after placing your order. Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled and will need to follow our standard return process.
Returns & Refunds
How do I return an item?
To start a return, contact us at info@vaahri.com.au within 30 days of delivery with your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable. Once your return is approved we will provide the correct return address and instructions. Please do not send items back without prior approval.
How long does a refund take?
Once your returned item is received and inspected, refunds are processed to your original payment method within 7 business days. Additional time may be required depending on your bank or payment provider.
What if my item arrives damaged or incorrect?
If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, contact us at info@vaahri.com.au as soon as possible with your order number, clear photos, and a description of the issue. If approved you will receive a full refund or replacement — in most cases no return is required.
Do your products come with a warranty?
All products sold by Vaahri are covered by the guarantees provided under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product develops a fault under normal use please contact us and we will work to resolve the issue promptly.

Do I need an electrician to install my light fitting?
In Australia, any hardwired light fitting — including ceiling lights, wall sconces, and pendant lights — must be installed by a licensed electrician. This is a legal requirement across all states and territories. Plug-in and battery-operated fittings can be set up without a tradesperson.
What type of lighting is best for a living room?
A layered approach works best — combining ambient lighting such as a ceiling pendant or downlights, task lighting such as a floor lamp for reading, and accent lighting to highlight features. Warm white bulbs in the 2700K–3000K range create the most comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
What is the difference between warm white and cool white lighting?
Warm white (2700K–3000K) produces a soft, amber-toned glow ideal for bedrooms, living rooms, and dining areas. Cool white (4000K–5000K) is brighter and more neutral, better suited to kitchens, bathrooms, and home offices where clarity and focus matter.
Can I dim any light fitting?
Not all fittings or bulbs are dimmable. Both the bulb and the dimmer switch must be compatible. LED bulbs vary — some are dimmable and some are not, which will be stated in the product specifications. Using a non-dimmable bulb with a dimmer can cause flickering, buzzing, or reduced bulb lifespan.
What does IP rating mean?
IP stands for Ingress Protection — an international standard rating how well a fitting is protected against solids and moisture. IP44 is generally suitable for bathrooms, while IP65 and above is required for outdoor or exposed environments. The IP rating for each product is listed on its product page.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal. All transactions are processed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Are your outdoor lights weatherproof?
All outdoor fittings in our range carry an IP rating suitable for outdoor use. The rating for each product is listed in the product specifications on the product page. If you are unsure whether a fitting suits your environment, contact us before purchasing.
What colour temperature should I use in a bedroom?
Warm white light in the 2700K–3000K range is best for bedrooms. It creates a soft, relaxed atmosphere that is easier on the eyes in the evening and more conducive to winding down before sleep.
Can I replace a halogen bulb with an LED?
In most cases, yes. LED bulbs are available in the same common fittings as halogen — including GU10 and E27 — and are a direct, energy-efficient replacement. Always check that the LED bulb matches the fitting type and wattage requirements of your fixture before purchasing.
